Dead Tone is a new horror movie thats going to come out on september 8-12 in Universal Screen Media and in Goodrich Quality. this movie is basically the directors cut of 7eventy 5ive. ive seen the trailers to it from youtube. i think its also available at www.deontaylorenterprises.com pretty scared me. so i cant wait for this movie to come out.

Sick of all the complaining about the horror genre today, there are quite a few cool movies out there whether big budget and independent. People must see one or two films they don't like and then post all over the place how everything sucks. Granted the remakes have gotten out of control, but besides that the 2000's have been pretty groundbreaking and produced some thrilling efforts... Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders, The Hills Have Eyes and Dawn of the Dead remakes, Ginger Snaps,...

What's been the goriest movies of the last 3 years?

Hey everyone, been away from horror for a while doing other things. Just wondering what to catch up on... I'm talking the goriest stuff out there. Here's a few I've researched: Meatball Machine, Machine Girl, Inside, The Rage, Poultrygeist, Barricade, Hatchet, Gateway Meat, Fetus, etc. I have heard Philosophy of a Knife is sick. Add some more, doesn't matter what genre or origin, or budget level... I know this is the place to find out about new underground movies.

Necronomicon, a Lovecraft inspired horror anthology has been under the radar for a long time. For those who haven't seen it, check this one out... Brian Yuzna and company deliver some great storytelling
along with nice creature fx and loads of gore. We're talking Dagon-esque monster mayhem, Re-Animator like body preservation along with melting flesh and sub-terrain flying beasts who steal people's brains.
Some excellent twists and turns as well. Of course J. combs is in...

What's up ya'll?? Anyone ever been to China? I went there a couple years ago to study their culture. I got really caught up in this thing called Chinese Ghost Month, where spirits rise from the lower realm on the 7^th month and are allowed to receive offerings from the living.

I hadn't heard much about it in the states...
