Sick of all the complaining about the horror genre today, there are quite a few cool movies out there whether big budget and independent. People must see one
or two films they don't like and then post all over the place how everything sucks. Granted the remakes have gotten out of control, but besides that the
2000's have been pretty groundbreaking and produced some thrilling efforts... Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders, The Hills Have Eyes and Dawn of the Dead
remakes, Ginger Snaps, Haute Tension, Dark Ride, the Cube series, 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later, Planet Terror, Saw, AVP, Sin City, Barker's Midnight Meat
Train, the Descent, Cloverfield, etc. not even touching on Asian cinema or the new wave of splatter epics. If you can't find something good out there you
can't be trying too hard.
